As a top act in the region, Tris Munsick & the Innocents continue to climb sharing their brand of Western country with audiences near and far. They have broken the mold with their unique blend of traditional and modern country, and fans resonate deeply with the authenticity ever-present in their music. In the words of recording artist Chancey Williams, “Tris Munsick is the real deal. He can write about and represent cowboy culture, because he was born in it and lives it. Tris is an artist that is really finding his voice in the American West.”
Constantly on the road, the band has shared the stage with Big and Rich, Lyle Lovett, Blackhawk, the Eli Young Band, Cody Johnson, Casey Donahew, Marty Stuart, and many more as well as performing at the National Finals Rodeo Opening Ceremonies in Las Vegas, NV. In an era that is continually moving towards digital music platforms, Tris Munsick and the Innocents continue to bring their live sound and feel to audiences throughout the American West.
Thrice-nominated for the Rocky Mountain Country Music awards, the band has recorded three albums to date, with their third release “Washakie Wind” hot off the press. Singles “If Horses Had Wings” and “Palomino” have been well-received, and the album is, up til now, a high point in what is sure to be a long and exciting career for this group.
Hailing from the eastern slope of the Big Horn mountains, Tris Munsick & the Innocents shine a brand-new light on modern cowboy music. Exciting things are in the works and for these boys, the ride has just begun.
Nestled in the heart of Nebraska, B.J. Jamison's musical journey traces its roots to the vast landscapes of Ashby, where he was raised on a ranch steeped in rodeo tradition. While his family reveled in the thrilling world of rodeo, B.J. charted a different course, discovering his passion for the guitar at the tender age of 13.
With a determination that belied his years, B.J. embarked on a self-taught musical odyssey. In a matter of months, he found himself strumming the chords as the lead guitarist for a country band, marking the auspicious beginning of a promising musical career. As the notes echoed in harmony, the band encouraged B.J. to explore his vocal talents, unveiling a newfound joy in live performances.
B.J. 's repertoire is as diverse as the Nebraska landscape, spanning classic country legends like Ernest Tubbs, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Cash to the vibrant sounds of 80s and 90s country icons such as Mark Chestnut, George Strait, and Garth Brooks. His musical odyssey extends even further into the realm of red dirt country, channeling the soulful spirit of artists like Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, and Ian Munsick.
For the past two years, B.J. has been enchanting audiences with his solo acoustic performances, traversing the Midwest and leaving an indelible mark. From the bright lights of fairs and festivals to the intimate ambiance of street dances, bars, and restaurants, B.J. has become a musical wanderer, leaving echoes of his melodies in every corner. Joining him now is the Twin River Band.
A testament to his rising star, B.J. had the honor of opening for the acclaimed Ian Munsick, a milestone that underscored his growing recognition in the musical realm. He has also graced the same stage opening for Ned LeDoux, Chancey Williams, Jerrod Niemann, and Halle Kearns.
